The PhD programme at NHH is a three-year programme starting in August of each year. The programme is designed for those seeking academic research and teaching careers in the study of economics and business administration. It is geared specifically for those whose main interest is scholarly research and teaching, and the majority of our graduates work in academic institutions. Residence is required for the majority of the full-time academic programme's duration.
